Although pumpkin pie was not part of the original Thanksgiving Feast, pumpkin pie is the little black dress of November desserts.
Pumpkin Pie
Sweetened condensed milk, low-carb recipe
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp ginger
1/4 tsp cloves
2 large eggs
1 can pumpkin
sweetener, to taste
pie shell
Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
In a mixing bowl, combine all ingredients. Pour into prepared pie shell. Baker at 425 for 15 minutes, and then bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees.
Pie can be refrigerated.
Serve with whipping cream for a fresh bit of fun!
