Just off a phone call with my friend Andy, who complained that (contrary to those who think that Pride gets more and more outrageous every year) the parade used to be far raunchier in the '80s. His summary of the dominant mantra of this weekend's SF Gay Pride:
"Get married! Adopt babies! Drink Skyy! Eat Altoids!"
Which inspired me to try my hand at a little haiku:
Dads with strollers
Eating Altoids, drinking Skyy:
A boring-ass parade
