Jenifer Tice and Scott Phillips in "Oh My Godmother!" at Zeum Theater, 8 pm
I'll be posting daily Pride events every morning throughout the week. If you'd like to see your event here, just drop me a line at gayexaminer@gmail.com (thanks to those who've already done so). I'm listing Friday's events in roughly chronological order, categorized by the hour.

7 pm

"Artist + Nude =" at CounterPULSE (1310 Mission). Nude art auction featuring, um, pieces by Kevin Rolly, Shaun Johnson, and Kenney Mencher. Hosted by Peaches Christ. 7 pm; $10-$15.

San Francisco TransMarch in Dolores Park (19th and Dolores). Events begin in the park at 3 pm; the march begins at 7 pm. After-party at El Rio at 9 pm (see below).

"The Golden Girls: The Gay Episodes" at Mama Calizo's Voice Factory (1519 Mission). I wasn't crazy about it, but maybe the girls have gotten their act together. 7 and 10 pm; $20. Email goldengirlssf@earthlink.net for tickets.

8 pm

Marga & More Boys at the SF LGBT Community Center (1800 Market). Everyone knows that Pride can get a little self-serious, so praise Jeebus that Marga Gomez is hosting an evening of tactless laughs with queer comics Ali Mafi, Ronn Vigh, and Thai Rivera. 8 pm; $12-$15. Call 415-864-4124 for more info.

Tradeshow/Mr. at Mighty (119 Utah). Tradeshow (8-11 pm) is a silent auction featuring portraits of the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence; Mr. (10 pm-6 am) is the all-night dance party that follows. $10 in advance; $20 at the door. Call 415-626-7001 for more info.

The Twilight Vixen Revue and SF Boylesque Q-baret Spectacular at The Garage (975 Howard). Queer showgirls! All-male burlesque! Friday and Saturday at 8 pm; $10-$20.

30th Annual Pride Concert: Our Message is Music at the First Unitarian Universalist Church of San Francisco (1187 Franklin). The Lesbian/Gay Chorus of San Francisco and the San Francisco Gay Men's Chorus join up to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the San Francisco Lesbian/Gay Freedom Band. 8 pm; $15-$40. Call 415-865-ARTS for more info.

"Oh My Godmother!" at Zeum Theater (221 4th St). A Cinderella musical that's even gayer than the Rodgers and Hammerstein version. SF Theater Examiner Chad Jones has the skinny. 8 pm; $20-$35.

"It's Murder, Mary!" at the New Conservatory Theatre Center (25 Van Ness). It's the final weekend for this world-premiere play, which is something like "Eight Women" with an all-male cast. My review is here; pre-show cocktails are basically required. 8 pm; call 415-861-8972 or visit nctcsf.org for tickets.

"Men in Uniform" at the New Conservatory Theatre Center (25 Van Ness). An original play (unseen by me) about the getups that get us going. 8 pm; call 415-861-8972 or visit nctcsf.org for tickets.

9 pm

TransMarch After-Party at El Rio (3158 Mission). Featuring LiL Manila, dj durt, and DJ Killawatt; the event is a benefit for the Trans/Gender Variant in Prison Committee. 9 pm.

Bibi's One-Year Anniversary and Pride Celebration at the Pork Store Cafe (3122 16th St). Billed as "San Francisco's premier queer Southwest Asian and North African charitable party." 9 pm; $15-$20.

Cream at DNA Lounge (375 11th St). Crystal Waters hosts a giant party just for the ladies. 9 pm-3 am.

Planet Big at The Stud (399 9th St). An event especially for men who enjoy throwing their weight around. 9 pm; $5.

10 pm

"The Golden Girls: The Gay Episodes" at Mama Calizo's Voice Factory (1519 Mission). I wasn't crazy about it, but maybe the girls have gotten their act together. 7 and 10 pm; $20. Email goldengirlssf@earthlink.net for tickets.

The Hot Boxxx Girls at Aunt Charlie's (133 Turk). You really shouldn't miss an opportunity to see Vicki Marlane shake her liquid spine. 10 pm; free (and with cheap drinks, too).

11 pm

Ghettodisco: Pride '08
at The Endup (401 6th St). With DJ Victor Calderone. 11 pm; $15-$20 (free before midnight).

Midnight

Charlie Horse at The Cinch (1723 Polk). The weekly drag performance hosted by Anna Conda. Show starts at midnight; free.
