With E3 news of new upcoming game spreading over the internet like wildfire, it's no wonder a big piece of PlayStation news went almost overlooked: Final Fantasy VII has been re-released and is now available for download.

Confirmed at Sony's press conference, Cloud fans can own the original best-selling RPG to either their PlayStation 3 or PSP for a mere $9.99 from the PlayStation Network

For those unaware of the game, Final Fantasy VII tells the story of Cloud Strife and his team attempting to stop the company Shin-Ra from using their planet as an energy source. The RPG was released in 1997 as a PlayStation exclusive, and has since spawned several spin-off games and a movie.

More PlayStation titles are rumored to be hitting the PlayStation Network soon, like Metal Gear Solid. But for now, if you don't own a copy of Final Fantasy VII, here's your chance!

Thanks to Jeff for the tip!
