Mark Huebner supports local designer's wares

In a bizarre stream of events, this Denver Celebrity Examiner got to meet Bachelorette reject, Mark Huebner.

Most people would have been blase about meeting a reality star; I, however, was excited.

By coincidence I was visiting with with Brandi Shingley, Denver's Fashion Ambassador, at the fabulous Fashion Denver Showroom (321 W. 11th Ave., Denver). She told me that a shirt by Denver's designer, Hieronymus, was worn by Huebner in a recent Denver Post article and during Huebner's appearance on The Men Tell All episode of this season's The Bachelorette.

Shingley took me to meet Huebner, who worked next door at Motive Branding. His branding company is sandwiched between the Fashion Denver Showroom and his pizza joint, Denver Pizza Co.

Huebner was as nice as ever and much more handsome, charming and personable than he was made out to be on the show (even I have a little crush now!). He humored me with some insider details of what really went down behind the scenes (stuff I pinky swore I wouldn't write about - sorry!).

He did say I could tell you this:

-He's friends with the winner of the last Bachelorette season (with DeAnna), Jesse Csincsak. He's also friends with the love-struck Reid Rosenthal

-He thinks Rosenthal or Kiptyn Locke may be the next Bachelor.

-He said Wes wasn't as bad as he was made out to be but Jake was.

BTW, I also tried the pizza and it was delicious. Thin but doughy crust was topped by mozzarella and an exciting array of Italian seasonings. I will certainly go back for more!
