Our friend, Penny Parker over at the Rocky Mountain News is just full of DNC celebrity scoop today. Here are just some snippets of info coming from her fabulous sources – read her full scoop online:
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt may be hosting a charity event here in Denver during DNC week.
U.S. Senators will be dancing to the sounds of The Fray on Aug. 25 at The Church nightclub (1160 Lincoln). The Church is also the venue for the Grammy Foundation’s celeb-fete featuring Everclear, Daughtry and The Flobots.
Gal pals, Michelle Obama and Hillary Clinton, will be featured guests at a Voter Latino event at Bar Standard (1037 Broadway) on Aug. 27.
Ben Affleck will be sporting a poker face the evening of Aug. 26 at Coors Field (club level) where he and other celebs will be playing “charity poker” to raise funds for paralyzed veterans.
