Dave & Busters: Local hot spot of Denver athletes

My husband was at Dave & Busters this weekend (last Friday night) when he spotted Nuggets point guard, Allen Iverson, shooting pool at the billiards table. Guess he had some time to kill while his buddy, Melo, was shooting for the gold in Bejing.

An anonymous waitress told my husband that Nuggets and Broncos players frequent the joint, although Nuggets players tend to perfect their pool game and Broncos players, notably Champ Bailey and Nate Webster, prefer the horse racing games.

When my husband asked the billiards host if he could play pool at the open table near Iverson, the host said, "Uh, no!" Nice try!
