Kevin Costner’s Aspen home featured in Cowboys & Indians magazine

Kevin Costner invites readers of western magazine, Cowboys & Indians, into his 160-acre Aspen ranch for a feature it its October issue, which just hit newstands late last week. The issue features the wannabe cowboy in the Aspen retreat he shares with his wife, Christine, and one-year-old son, Cayden.

There are no horses on this cowboy’s ranch, according to Costner, because of the altitude; that’s why the mega-movie actor bought a home in Santa Barbara too – so he can keep horses and “ride them down to the beach,” he tells Cowboys & Indians.

Costner also dishes to Cowboys & Indians about his aspirations to become a country-rock singer/songwriter. In the fall, Costner’s band, Modern West, will release its debut album and Costner will join the ranks of other movie-star-turned-singers like Keanu Reeves, Gary Sinise and Kevin Bacon.
