Albuquerque is back at “The Lab” this Friday, July 24, for an eight game homestand that brings the Iowa Cubs, Triple-A affiliate of the Chicago Cubs and the Oklahoma City RedHawks, top affiliate of the Texas Rangers to town.
The promotions start on Friday with the first pitch at 7:05 p.m. with a baseball giveaway courtesy of Haight and LoPour Family Dentistry to the first 3,000 fans through the turnstiles when Albuquerque takes on Iowa. On Saturday, Jake the Diamond Dog comes to town and 3,000 lucky fans get a drawstring backpack thanks to Lovelace Health System.
However, the Dodger Triple-A partner doesn’t stop there, Jake the Diamond Dog returns for an encore performance on Sunday at 6:05 p.m. Then on Monday, take lunch at The Lab, as the Isotopes will have another of their extremely popular Business Person’s Specials beginning at 12:05 PM. The team says that after the game if you stick around you can run the bases.
The Isotopes will be breaking out their Dukes Uniforms on Tuesday for the team’s annual Dukes Retro Night. Prior to first-pitch at 7:05 PM, the Isotopes will have an on-field ceremony inducting this year’s class into the Albuquerque Professional Baseball Hall of Fame. This year’s list of greats includes the 1972 Dukes Team, Tom Paciorek, Dennis Lewallyn, and Jessie Priest.
On Thursday, fans coming to the game with Oklahoma City at 7:05 PM will get a chance to win a free television and other great electronic gear courtesy of Baillios.
The Isotopes’ wrap up the homestand with the third post-game fireworks show of the month on Friday, July 31 presented by New Mexico Mutual. The game starts at 7:05 PM but you’ll want to get to the park early to make sure you have a great seat for the fireworks extravaganza!
