The St. Louis Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation will host the Jackie Smith Golf and Tennis Experience at the Algonquin Golf Club in Glendale on June 1.

The event is a full day of either tennis and golf where all skill levels are welcome.

Golfers will be able to have a swing evaluation, grip analysis, custom glove fitting, and more. Dan Boever, 2008 Long Drive Champion, will be onsite throughout the day.

Tennis players will enjoy teachings from Mario Barretto on proper skills and mechanics. Barretto was formerly ranked #1 in St. Louis for singles and doubles. Also, players will have a chance to play tennis on rare clay courts.

Lunch, snack and beverage cards, and a cocktail reception are provided. Prestige sponsorships are available. Funds raised will benefit managed research science that will bring therapies and a cure to the millions of people suffering with type 1 diabetes.

For more information or to sign up for the event, contact Marie at 314-729-1846 x 14.
