
Jessica Alba is in negotiations to be in a part of the cast of the third installment of the hit “Meet the Parents” franchise.
According to Variety, Director Paul Weitz is prepping the film for Universal Pictures and Tribeca Productions.
Alba is most likely to play a role of a pharmaceutical rep who will be causing trouble to Ben Stiller and Robert De Niro’s characters. The film also features Teri Polo, Blythe Danner and Own Wilson.
Jane Rosenthal and Jay Roach are producers and John Hamburg rewrote Larry Stuckey’s original script.
Alba can be Garry Marshall’s romantic comedy, “Valentine’s Day.” She has also completed filming roles in “Machete,” the drama that is co-directed by Robert Rodriguez, and “The Killer Inside Me,” the Michael Winterbottom-directed adaptation of the Jim Thompson book.
