MovieTickets.com “Watchmen” has sold out more than 80 midnight performances.
“Watchmen” accounted for 82 percent of ticket sales at MovieTickets.com Thursday Feb. 5, as of 12:30 p.m. ET.
Four hours prior to its East Coast release, “Watchmen” has already sold more advance tickets at MovieTickets.com than director Zack Snyder’s “300” did in 2007.
According to a recent MovieTickets.com poll of over 1,300 moviegoers who intend to see “Watchmen,” 76% are planning to see the film opening weekend, and 27% of intend to see it midnight tonight.
