Not because you asked, but I wanted to "introduce to some and present to others" the Playing for Change: Song Around the World" video from You Tube. It's a clever production of an old R&B standard, but I'd never heard it quite like this.
When visiting the Playing for Change website (which I encourage), you'll see a message that says, "Playing for Change is a multi-media movement created to inspire, connect and bring peace to the world through music."
The thing about You Tube is you're not going to find everything you want, the way you want it. Been looking for a free version of Summer Wind forever. Still, I do have my Fave Five (free) You Tube videos.
So, just to spur some discussion, and hear what you're trackin', here now, my Fave Five You Tube Videos.
1. Give this song five and-a-half minutes of your time and you'll feel better, I promise.
Now the rest of these you'll have to paste to your browser. Just some suggested listening here:
2. "Real Jazz, right now." (sorry, Thurston).
