J.Crew Men's Shop Opens in NYC

J.Crew's Men's Only Store

As they said on their window pre-opening: A man walks into a bar and orders a Madras.

The big news in Manhattan today? The J.Crew Men's Shop opens. Getting inspired from old mens shops with a splash of liquor store, the new J. Crew men’s shop in TriBeCa is is expected to be a nice romp of men's fashion, old-style, er... styles (think classic American Crew photos), with what you've come to love from J.Crew.

With wooden bar and fixtures, this new, quirky one-off store may prove to spawn a whole new idea for J.Crew. But right now, there's novelty in the premise: a selection of J.Crew limited editions such as suits, plus outside collaborations with brands like Thomas Mason shirting, Alden shoes, and vintage tie bars among other things.

A classic becomes even more classic.
