Earth lights at night as captured by NASA.

Geology.com has collected a series of NASA photographs illuminating Earth at night. The pin pricks of permanent light depict not population, but rather electricity use. The maps show the whole planet, then break down by continent. It's a worthwhile feast for the eyes.
