Celebrity Sightings: Will the real Slim Shady Please Stand Up?

So, I’ve been told that I look exactly like Zooey Deschanel (who…you may ask) who made her first debut in Veronica’s Closet at the age of seventeen and has most recently played the role of “DG” in the Sci Fi Channels’ Tin Man. Minus the misty blue eyes and perhaps if I grew out my Katie Holmes bob; this association may be a bit more believable.

Recently however, I have personally met a few celebrity look-a-likes that have not only caught my eye, but have literally made my head turn to ensure that I wasn’t in fact ten feet in front of the infamous mig pilot from the 1986 Top Gun movie. Now, upon informing certain characters of their resemblances while exposing my utter excitement of their similarities, some were totally caught off guard and in denial of the comparison. Others however, continued strutting along with complete intention and confidence as they carried on talking the talk and walking the walk of their role model.

Lieutenant Dan for example, who was spotted on the Rodney St. beach of Dewey Beach this summer was proud to publicize to all surrounding him of his identical appearance…says the ladies dig it. Not that he needed to make an announcement to draw attention to himself in the least, but I suppose he just couldn’t get enough of trying out his sea legs up at the Delaware shore.

On the contrary, Goose who was noticed a few weeks back on Little Havana’s back deck had an effortless parallel to Anthony Edwards. The beloved wingman made me exclaim, “Goodness gracious great balls of fire,” as he was in total oblivion of the indistinguishable match I had made. Still, as good of a sport that he was, I’d be interested to hear your feedback on the situation.

And then there’s Harry Potter who was found outside the Cask n’ Flagon in Boston, but as he was also accompanied by the Queen of England, a werewolf, Richard Nixon and a few others, I didn’t get too terribly star struck by his sighting. Although a photo for memory’s sake was absolutely necessary.
