A Mike Jones sighting

More great stuff from the Maryland Basketball: Where are they now? blog--Fan favorite Mike Jones apparently is trying out for CSU Asesoft Ploiesti of Romania. 

The shooting guard had previously played in Cyprus and Turkey.

He was the second-leading scorer his senior year, 2006-2007, averaging 13.8 ppg.  Jones made 81 3-pointers, shooting 44 percent from beyond the arc. 

A McDonald's All-American in high school, Jones never turned into a star at Maryland.  His career is a good topic of debate.  In fact, next time you're looking for something to talk about with your boys (or girls) at Cornerstone, just ask whether Jones was misused or a disappointment. 

After the obligatory "Who?" comment, the rest is up for grabs.
