Maryland Madness

October 4, 11:32 AM

Maryland basketball is back.

The 2008 Maryland Madness celebration hits Comcast Center on Friday, Oct. 17.  The annual festivities include the introductions of the men’s and women’s teams, spirit and dance team performances and giveaways.  Doors open at 6 p.m.

The highlight of the event is surely the spectacular entrance of Gary Williams and the men’s team.  Check out Williams’ and the team’s moves from last year.  Pretty sweet.

Women’s Head Coach Brenda Frese will address the crowd and her team will scrimmage.

The Student-Athlete Advisory Committee will have a canned food drive for the Capital Area Food Bank.

Call the Terps at 1-800-IM-A-TERP to reserve a free ticket.
