Family Guy and American Dad guy Seth MacFarlane has made one of the most successful animated shows on television, and he's also pretty cool with BLGT issues. Here's a clip below of his online radio show where he gives advice to a bi girl who is from a Christian family and doesn't want to know how to express her bisexuality.
And here are some other funny bi facts about him and his show:
* The creative creator shook things up a few weeks ago on Bill Maher's show "Real Time" by saying:
"I'm a big champion of gay rights . . . I like a good -ss f--k as much as the next guy. . . . That's an issue where ... it's okay for the people who have made that leap to kind of yank the rest of the nation forward. Because while you have people who are deliberating as they're watching Dr. Phil, and trying to figure out, "Gee, am I okay with this or not?" ... you've got couples who are just trying to get on with their f---ing lives, and why is it they have to wait for these people?"
* Lots of speculation is swirling about the talking baby character Stewie (a character he voices himself) from the adult animated show. He's a bit mean, a bit bi, and tells The Advocate:
"Stewie, [is the character most GLBT people relate to] because he’s arguably the most complex character. He originally began as this diabolical villain, but then we delved into the idea of his confused sexuality."
* The unmarried MacFarlane came to support gay rights and gay marriage after a family member wondered aloud whether MacFarlane's gay cousin's homosexuality could be "cured." That angered MacFarlane, and he wrote in the Family Guy episode "You May Now Kiss the... Uh... Guy Who Receives" a story where Brian's cousin Jasper wants a marriage to his Filipino boyfriend only to get turned down by the local council.
Anyway, check out Seth's sound advice to the bi gal in the clip below. He could be the next Dr. Phil.
* Forum wondering if Stewie is bi.
