It looks like closet-nerd (and not-so-closet-nerd) rappers are congregating in San Diego this weekend, likely to get in on some San Diego Comic-Con action. Whether or not they'll make an appearance at the renowned convention, they will be performing at a number of shows throughout the weekend. San Diego hip-hop heads rejoice!

Marco Polo & Torae recently released their boom-bap heavy collaboration album, Double Barrel. Call it a throwback to DJ Premier's sample-heavy New York gutter music. The duo will be hosting an album release party this Friday at the Morena Club near Sea World.
