Don't call it a comeback. Because he never left.

Blame One "Mr. Science"
YTest ft. Blame One "Accept It"
Just 5 months after retiring, Blame One comes back like Jordan wearing the 4-5. Which, if you follow him on Twitter, was pretty easy to read seeing as how he kept tweeting whenever he went back into the booth and leaked something like an album's worth of songs in that short time period. On one of those songs, "Accept It," he even says, "I ain't going nowhere soon, so just accept it."

"Mr. Science" is one of two tracks Blame leaked at Potholes In My Blog to celebrate his official un-retirement. It comes off a mixtape, Leaks And Gemz, which Blame plans to drop in a couple months. Blame admits to being "street-slash-Internet geek" (which we already knew), spits some metaphysical alchemy, and keeps teasing us with some double-time chop-shop flow without ever going all in, just to be a jerk. Welcome back, Blame.

Mr. Ridley & Orko Eloheim "NIN Never Die" (Myspace link)
It's good when you get to hear Orko on some rappity rap. Much of Orko's material is some seriously experimental drum 'n' bass-type stuff (he is signed to avant label, Ninja Tune, after all) which I accept because that's part of Orko's very, very unique personality (he was weird way before it got all trendy to be weird). But y'know, I like rap, not drum 'n' bass. Here, Orko barely spits half a verse but he's still golden because everything he says is so intense and the hard rock track matches that intensity. Mr. Ridley of Anti-Citizens holds his own but it's a good thing he got in a word at all. Once Orko takes control, he never lets go. Also, I apologize that you can only stream this at his Myspace. If I was more tech-savvy, I would have ripped it for you.

Pedalay The Boss "Rampage"
Scatter Brain The Acid Atheist ft. Pedalay The Boss "Attention Citizens" (Myspace link)
On "Rampage," producer Infinity Gauntlet effectively captures the sound of Godzilla stomping through your puny city. New Examiner favorite Pedalay assumes the role of said giant monster and goes in hard with the raps. "Attention Citizens" is along the same lines of "Rampage" except maybe coming from the perspective of invading aliens or something. It features more in-house talent from Smoke Break Records--Scatter Brain on the mic and Citizen 10 on the boards. All the sci-fi and comics talk shows their SD roots (SD being the home of Comic-Con and all). Thankfully, they keep it more gully than nerdcore, with all due respect to Mega Ran. "Rampage" is in gi-normous .wav format and "Attention Citizens" is another Myspace stream. Deal with it.

Kahlee & Uptown Swuite ft. Torae "When The Lights Go Down"
Adikt 1 bangs out some glorious chipmunk soul heat rocks in this ode to the city, making this like a not-corny version of Jay-Z's "Empire State Of Mind" (which is still good, despite being a little corny). I just wish it was an ode to SD but whatever, still knocks.
