Denver, Colorado is a Live Music Mecca.  Want proof?  Over the next three nights (Thursday 11/5-Saturday 11/7), the Mile High City will play host to a triple threat of heavy, high caliber, over the top concerts!  So warm up those neck muscles, and prepare yourself for some amazing, intense shows that are not to be missed.

Chevelle with Halestorm and After Midnight Project at the Fillmore Auditorium at 7:00 p.m. ($25).  Chevelle is always consistently heavy and consistently good.  Tool-like at times, this band is a straight ahead Hard Rock band.  Chevelle released their fifth studio album, 'Sci-Fi Crimes', on August 31, 2009.  To get a feel for their live show, check out 'The Red'.

Rob Zombie with Nekromantix and Captain Clegg at the Fillmore Auditorium at 8:30 p.m. ($36).  Zombie always puts on an entertaining show.  His shows are more than just a musical concert, they are a full on production.  Astounding visuals, scantily-clad dancers, primal beats, and John 5's (Marilyn Manson) guitar theatrics.  For a preview of Rob Zombie, check out this clip from just last Halloween night:  'More Human Than Human'

Skinny Puppy  with Vverevvolf Grehv at the Ogden Theatre at 9:00 p.m. ($30).   Skinny Puppy puts on one of the freakiest, intense, insane shows of any band ever!  Don't believe me?  Click on:  'Immortal' and see for yourself.   Skinny  Puppy is super heavy with an Industrial bent.  This concert is not for the weak at heart.  Enter at your own risk.

Anyone who can survive this triple threat is a true concert professional!

I have a feeling that come Sunday, we Denver Concerratti will be nursing some serious bangovers.
