Cameron Diaz graced "Comic Con" to promote "The Box" Photo/Terra King

It's Friday again, time for new film releases.

These films are being heavily advertised which will make the race for top of the box office interesting. However, I believe that race will be for second place. "This is it" only has a few days left at the theater, I doubt any film will knock it out of first place.

"The Men Who Stare At Goats," George Clooney, supposedly based on a true story.

"The Fourth Kind" Milla Jovovich. Another film based on a true story about alien abduction.

"Precious" Gritty drama starring Gabby Sidibe and Mo'Nique. Also has Mariah Carey and Lenny Kravitz in small roles.

"Disney's A Christmas Carol" Available in 3D. Animated starring Jim Carey and several major stars, most with several roles.

"The Box" Cameron Diaz stars in a thriller about a family that needs money and what they are willing to endure to get it.

The first Christmas movie opens today.
