Jon & Kate Gosselin
The situation between Jon & Kate Gosselin of TLC's Jon & Kate Plus 8 continues to brew. On one hand, I think the media (myself included) should leave Jon & Kate alone and allow them to sort through their problems behind closed doors. Yet, on the other hand, Jon & Kate have opened up their lives to the world and many people (myself included) can't help, but want to know what's going on with them.
While some feel that Kate is getting a bad rap about her attitude. Others think Kate is justified in her attitude considering she is the mother of eight. I personally can't imagine how much stress she and Jon are under raising eight children. However, I don't think being stressed and having a lot of kids gives you a pass to be a jerk to the other people around you.
They've both done things that are questionable and while Jon was initially getting the most heat Kate's actions have come into question more and more over the last two weeks. Some of the allegations against Kate are that she had an affair with her bodyguard, spent 21 of the last 31 days traveling, and that she hosted the sextuplets birthday party a week after their actual birthday since it fell on Mother's Day and she wanted to spend the day at the spa. Kate's family and former friends have also said she's money hungry and that she is using the children as a meal ticket. Her brother, Kevin Kreider, even called her marriage a "train wreck" and leaked the information about Jon and Kate's marriage contract that said they could cheat on each other as long as the show keep going.
The fame has to go to the entire family's head a little bit, but it seems it has gone to Kate's more than anyone else's at this point. The small town girl from the trailer park is now glam, fab, and living it up. She might have a big ego, but can she back it up?
And no worries for all the Jon haters and Kate supporters, I'll be posting about Jon too.
