Beaujolais Nouveau ~ November 19, 2009

alizée boutique bistro and wine bar is pleased to announce it’s first annual Beaujolais Nouveau Celebration!

Celebrate the Premier Wine of 2009 with Chef Christian’s Four Star Cuisine. Chef Christian will feature a Prix Fixe menu of classic & modern French cuisinepaired with vin de primeur.

The menu, priced at $29 for three courses, can also be ordered a la carte and will feature:

premier plats

• celery root bisque
• frisée aux lardons
• chicken liver & foie gras pate

entrées

• braised beef short rib bourguignon
• seared chicken breast coq au vin
• crispy pork belly cassoulet
• seared salmon roulade

dessert 

• tarte tatin
• creme brulee

*Beaujolais nouveau is a red wine made from Gamay grapes produced in the Beaujolais region of France. It is the most popular vin de primeur, fermented for just a few weeks then officially released for sale on the third Thursday of November.  For more information on Beaujolais nouveau click here
