Now that summer is in full swing, it's time for fun summer drinks!  And with July being the unofficial "rum" month, why not try these delicious (and gluten-free) rum drinks when the weather is hot and you want to cool off?

Rum Punch:


This is perfect for a BBQ or gathering with friends and family:


Ingredients

    * 1 cup fresh lime juice
    * 2 cups grenadine syrup
    * 2 cups Jamaican white rum
    * 1 cup light rum
    * 2 cups fresh pineapple juice
    * 2 cups fresh orange juice
    * Pinch freshly grated nutmeg, optional
    * Orange slices, for garnish
    * Pineapple slices, for garnish

Directions

Mix all ingredients together in a pitcher or punch bowl. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving. Garnish with orange or pineapple slices.

Frozen Mojito:

A delicious twist on the classic Mojito:


Ingredients


    * 1/4 cup simple syrup (equal parts sugar and water boiled together until sugar melts)
    * 2 limes, juiced
    * 12 fresh mint leaves, plus mint sprigs for garnish
    * 4 ounces white rum
    * 2 cups crushed ice

Directions

Combine simple syrup, lime juice and mint leaves in a blender and blend until combined. Add the rum and crushed ice and blend until frothy. Pour into 2 rocks glasses and garnish with mint sprigs.
