And, no. That's not a reference to the fact that the Dodgers have not scored in their last 22 innings.

According to The Los Angeles Times, the game has been delayed due to faulty lighting.

Somewhat incredibly, the Dodgers-Rangers game has been delayed quite a long time because a bank of lights at Rangers Ballpark, powerless when the game began before dusk (according to T.R. Sullivan of MLB.com), still hadn't been repaired as of 7:30 p.m. Pacific time.

"The official explanation is that there was a breaker malfunction in the light bank that needed to be fixed by a company not present," Sullivan wrote in almost deadpan style.

Heh.

Update. GAME ON!

Let's hope the delay doesn't further the delay of the Dodgers' bats awakening.
