While not actually an Oregon spirit, the jigger is one of the most indispensable and inexpensive tools for the home bartender since it allows quick and accurate measurements of the spirits included in cocktail recipes.
The jigger is the larger of the two halves of a traditional double jigger, holding 1.5 fluid ounces, or what is commonly referred to as one "shot." The smaller end is a "pony" or 1.0 ounce.
