by Darcy Camden, Seattle Style Examiner

Ladies, now is the time to have your go-to holiday outfit(s) locked and loaded, because before you can say, "...and partridge in a peartree" your calendar will be peppered with party invitations. If you're imagining yourself in a gorgeous designer look, but your bank account is restricting you to the discount stores, fear not. You can look like you spent a semi-fortune on yourself and actually save some change.

Here are three great holiday looks, custom styled by moi. Everything you see below can be found at Forever 21, Kohls, Target, and Payless Shoe Source, proving wonderfully that you can create a stylish head-to-toe holiday look (don't forget shoes and accessories!) for under $200. Now, that's reason to celebrate!

Get the designer look for less: fringe cocktail dress

October 23, 9:57 AM
We have to tread carefully with fringe. Sure, it's fun in a retro/flapper-esque way. But fringe is so hyper-trendy right now, that overindulging will surely lead to a what-was-I-thinking moment in the near future. Luckily, you don't have to break the... Read More

Seattle's most stylish Halloween party

October 13, 3:08 PM
We don't usually count on Halloween to be a stylish evening. Ghoulish, yes. Freakish, sure. But it's hard to associate October 31 with "style," when even the most sophisticated party-goers hit the streets in little more than fishnets and lingerie. This... Read More

Get the designer look for less: studded boots

October 8, 10:08 AM
I firmly believe that you don't need to spend a lot of money to build a luxe-looking closet. Sure, a few key pieces are worth an investment (and a little splurge here and there never hurt anyone), but neither Suze Orman nor I would approve of endlessly... Read More
