Chef Anne-Sophie Pic

Let's talk epicurean perfection.

There are several options one can choose from while staying at Beau Rivage Palace.

For breakfast I suggest the Michelin-starred La Rotonde- a gourmet French restaurant overlooking the hotel’s gardens with Lake Geneva and the Alps hanging like a master's painting in the background. La Rotonde also boasts an extensive wine cellar with some 75,000 bottles for every palat to choose from. Le Cafe Beau-Rivage is the hotel’s luxe brasserie and offers a lakeside terrace for dining al fresco, and on most nights, it is the place “to be seen." L’Accadamia, next door to the hotel, is a fantastic choice for al fresco lunch with fresh Italian fare and a nice variety of wines– one of my favorite lunches in Switzerland. Le Miyako-Lausanne is one of the hotel’s newest gastronomy endeavors for Asian inspired dishes and fresh sushi.

Anne-Sophie Pic Restaurant

However, hands down, one of my most precious epicurean memories to date is my lunch at “ASP”–Anne-Sophie Pic’s glorious venture at Beau-Rivage Palace. Anne-Sophie is the only female French chef to garner three Michelin stars, and they are well beyond deserved. Beauty begins with the visuals of her restaurant; muted natural tones combined with splashes of pink colored roses on each table, clean lines seen in the décor are reflected in dark wood furniture accents, complete with contemporary crystal chandeliers. Feminine, light and rich melded into one magical place for an epicurean adventure!

La Rhubarbe et La Cacahuete

I am not a traditional "foodie" writer, so I can only describe my Anne-Sophie Pic gastronomic experience with these words: creative, impeccable, colorful, ambrosial, simple, brilliant; words than can not possibly lend justice to the culinary perfection experienced at Anne-Sophie Pic au Beau Rivage Palace. From the cold sweet pea soup— truly extraordinary, to the melt in your mouth Turbot, followed by a fromage lover’s “to die for” cheese cart and a series of luscious deserts…“oh my” was all I could murmur with each delectable taste.

Perfection for the senses...
