Have an aggressive dog? Do not be aggressive.

Positive reinforcement trainers have known forever that you do not have to be aggressive to treat aggression (or any other behavior problem), but we have all battled the "other side" about this topic.

I am not expecting choke chain abusers to change their ways over night, but a study conducted in February shows that aggressive tactics in dog training do not help cure an aggressive dog.

Read the article in Science Daily, tell your friends, and have confidence that you do NOT need to be mean to your dog, whether he is aggressive or not.
