Ever wonder why Frontier Airlines doesn't have images of cows on their jets' tails? Because it would be creepy. After all, the passenger seats are all leather.

That's the premise behind Frontier's "Leather Seats" commercial. The spot, developed by the airline and creative agency Grey NYC, features "spokesanimals". In the ad, several of Frontier's animal themed planes are parked at airport gates giving the animals a chance to chat.

The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences presented Frontier with the Heartland Regional Emmy on July 18, during a ceremony in Glendale, Colo.

“Frontier’s spokesanimals are such a significant part of this airline,” said Director of Advertising Diane Willmann. “We couldn’t be happier to have received this award recognizing their importance to our brand and their ability to share news with our customers in an engaging and entertaining way.”
