It’s been just over a year since the App Store launched and there are more than a staggering 60,000 applications released for the iPhone and iPod Touch. Here are seven more of my favorites that help inspire a healthy lifestyle.

1. Quitter

As ludicrous as it sounds, this will keep track of how long you've been smoke-free and how much cash you’ve saved since tossing out your cancer sticks. It may not ward off that nicotine craving, but if you’re struggling, a quick glance at the dollar signs on your iPhone/ iPod Touch will help you stay on track. Go ahead, be a Quitter. Price: Free

2, iMassage Me
"Massage Me" uses the iPhone's vibration motor to provide you with a relaxing massage. Simply tap in your pattern and roll your iPhone around different parts of your body, relaxing to your own customized vibration. Enjoy your automatically repeating pattern as you slip into a state of blissful relaxation.
Price: Free

3. Yoga Trainer Lite

Not sure if you're striking the correct yoga asanas? This informative app will help you perfect your Half Camel and a myriad of other positions, with step-by-step instructions and helpful audio guides. Whether you’re a yoga virgin or an expert guru, this helps you perfect the ancient discipline for a state of ideal harmony to combat the stress and strains of modern day life. Best of all, no sweaty butts in your face!
Price: Free

4. Brain Exercise with Dr Kawashima

Keep your mind sharp and build 'fluid intelligence' with tricky audio and visual memory tasks and cool anime style graphics. Supervised by brain guru, Dr. Kawashima, Brain Exercise is filled with new and challenging ways to stimulate each brain part (Frontal, Parietal, Temporal lobes) to keep your mind active. Games include sudoku, remembering letters from a sequence, face recognition, and reverse dice. Who knew something so good for you could be so fun? $4.99 from iTunes.

5. Last Call

Nothing kills a night on the town more than a DUI, but how do you know when one more drink is too much? Although not a definite answer by any means, you can log the alcohol you’ve been drinking, monitor blood alcohol levels, and figure out the physical parameters to find out if you’ve imbibed too much to drive. It also calls you a cab and provides a list of top DUI lawyers just in case! It may not get you a designated driver, but Last Call is the first call to determine if it’s safe for you to get behind the wheel of a car.  Price: Free

6. NexStudios’s iPot

Turn your iPhone into a HighPhone!  In California, this controversial new app helps residents score weed. The free version of the app provides basic location information for nearby stores, while the $2 upgrade adds reviews and ratings sans advertising. Developers are "working on additional features, such as a referral tool that lets users find doctors who will prescribe marijuana and the ability for reviewers to create profiles. Get baked! Price: Free

7. Personal Om

Get some ‘you’ time together with this application that keeps an eye on how long and well you are meditating. Just shake your iPod to start the visual and vibrating effects for instant clarity of mind. Categories span the gamut from supernovas to ancient mandellas. The “Om” soundtrack is soothing without being annoying. You can also export timers to an iPod or even burn them to a CD to keep you all well and relaxed in any way you want.  $1.99 from iTunes.
