The great things about Twitter are the many creative ways you can use it.
No one will ever accuse the folks over at Worthpoint.com of sitting around waiting for things to happen.
Their latest project is a Twitter contest! Here are the details:
WorthPoint’s “What’s It Worth” Twitter Contest
Do you own an antique or collectible that you’d like to know more about? Maybe it’s the railroad watch your grandfather gave you, that Batman comic book you bought when you were 7 years old, or maybe the painting you thought looked interesting and bought on the cheap from a yard sale. Are you wondering what it’s worth? WorthPoint is hosting a Twitter contest to give you a chance for finding out.
Playing is simple. Take picture of your antique or collectible that you’d like to learn more about and post it to Twitter with a short description. Each day we’ll randomly choose a submitted item for a free Ask A Worthologist evaluation. Daily winners will be contacted on Twitter to obtain more information about the item and an email address for evaluation submission. Note that Twitter cannot be used for regular access to WorthPoint’s “Ask a Worthologist” service. This service is available only through https://www.worthpoint.com/askWorthologist/index.
At the end of the contest one winner will be chosen for the Grand Prize of a free one year Professional profile account on WorthPoint.
Contest Dates:
August 14 - 28
Prizes:
- One Ask a Worthologist awarded daily.
- One Grand Prize of a free Professional WorthPoint profile account for one year.
How to play:
1. You must have a Twitter account to play. If you do not have one, click here to sign up. No purchase necessary.
