Edward Roberts International to hold fine wine auction on November 8th

If your idea that a Sunday afternoon is best spent relaxing and enjoying a great wine, then read on.
On Sunday, November 8th, a fine wine auction will be held at the Union League Club of Chicago by Edward Roberts International. This will be a two session auction, the second session will take place in December.
There are 243 lots being offered in this session.
Highlights will include a double magnum of the 1959 Chateau Lafite-Rothschild, bottles of 1961 Chateau Mouton-Rothschild, a large selection of Bordeau vintages from 1966,1970,1975,1982,1985,1990 and 2000.
There will also be a offering of newer Claret in large formats.
Also included in the sale will be an impressive collection of older German rarities imported by German wine authority Paul Mann. There will also be commendable vintage Port, Cognac,Armagnac and Madeira.

Chateau Leoville-Las Cases - Vintage - 1975 "Tasting Notes" "This is one of the great successes of the vintage. However, those with modern day tastes for soft, easy-going, supple wines may not enjoy the 1975 Leoville Las-Cases. Why? It is a tannic, backward, old style wine cut from the mold of such vintages as 1948 and 1928. The color is a dark ruby/garnet with a hint of amber at the edge. The nose offers up distinctive mineral, lead pencil, sweet, blackcurrant scents with flinty overtones.
