A captive in the Castle Halloween
Pamela Apkarian-Russell (the Halloween Queen) believes that there is a veil between life and death. She is the curator of the Halloween Castle, an author, a collector of vintage, collectible, Halloween pieces for almost 40 years.
She is also a public speaker, a freelance writer, and has strong opinions on the afterlife and Halloween tradition.
Among those beliefs is that there is a "veil", that seperates this world from the other. She says that she has had too many personal experiences to not believe in the spirit world.
I was lucky enough to catch Pamela for an interview this season. Among things she talked about were, her new book on Stonehenge, the relationship between Harry Houdini and A. Conan Doyle, and why she says, "I'll celebrate any holiday I can".
