I'm always amazed when I go throught a collection of antiques to sell and I'm reminded of the responsibility that was bestowed upon children in the days of old.
Take a look at the sampler to the right done by Lucy Withington of Dorchester MA at age 10!
I'm not sure if can remember all of my greatest accomplishments at that age, but I'm pretty sure I remember being proud that I could tie my shoes with my eyes closed. Things have changed.
