Cormac McCarthy's 2006 novel "The Road" is back on bestseller lists following the release of the movie version of the Pulitzer Prize-winning book.

McCarthy's "The Road" is now 77th on the Amazon.com bestseller list. It's been in the top 100 for the past seven days, which roughly coincides with the release of the movie Nov. 25.

"The Road" won the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction in 2007. It's a post-apocalyptic tale of a father and son taking to the road in search of a better life following a major catastrophe.

The film version of "The Road" stars Viggo Mortensen and Charlize Theron.
