They haven't had a sale like this in 35 years. You KNOW there is going to be some good finds, stuff of quality and likeness that you'll NEVER find in a store. What a deal!
From the website:
More than 300 items on sale including Oberon's cape from A Midsummer Night's Dream, Queen Elizabeth's gown from The Beard of Avon and Eliza’s kimono from Pygmalion, plus:
Prices range from $10-$1000. Sizes range from women's XS (0-2) up to a man’s size 48 suit. There are only a few items in children’s sizes.
All proceeds from the sale benefit Seattle Reperatory Theater which is Washington's largest non-profit regional theater.
I even find things I wear for day to day clothing in the costume sections. Sounds bizarre but when you are a fashionista, sometimes the costume rack is a great place to find stuff!
