I recently had the priviledge of attending an open house networking event at Ambiente European Tile Design, per invitation by Scott Kerwin of Kerwin Landscaping. He and his lovely wife, Christine, stopped by SPACE Design Center one afternoon and extended the invitation.
The open house evening was complete with delicious, healthy snacks and presentations by Ambiente's designer and showroom lead, Tiffany Aweeka, and Scott Kerwin, to share about outdoor-durable Ambiente tile lines. There was even a local appearance from local celebrity gardening expert Cisco, of Gardening with Cisco!
Tiffany's presentation on outdoor-durable Ambiente tile included eco-friendly lines Oceanside, and Sandhill, made of recycled glass in many lovely colors. It can be used solo, in combination with other colors, and even for mosaic designs.
Scott Kerwin shared his experience using Ambiente tile in his outdoor projects, with some rather extraordinary post-project results.
Outdoor tile decor really can add amazing, lasting beauty and color to your exterior decor and design, whether you use it as small accents or in larger quantities, as with the Kerwin Landscaping projects. Lasting, timeless design helps conserve planet resources because it doesn't need to be replaced with new resources and when you can use products of recycled content, you are doubling your conservation efforts!
Thank you to the owners and staff of Ambiente for hosting such a lovely event, sharing their space and outdoor-durable tile lines, and to Scott Kerwin for inviting me to join them for the event and presentation of his work. Thank you also to Cisco for all the gardeing expertise he shares with everyone, and for maintaining a humble, approachable spirit, even in the midst of being a celebrity.
What a joy it is to have so many talented people sharing their knowledge here in the Pacific NW and beyond!
