Murder by the Book is the scene Saturday for an exciting author event in Houston. Beginning at 4:30 pm, TJ Bennett (The Promise), Christie Craig (Gotcha!), Kerrelyn Sparks (Secret Life of a Vampire) and Colleen Thompson (Beneath Bone Lake) will be signing their latest releases. Murder by the Book is located at 2342 Bissonett Street.

Also on Saturday, the Borders Store at 570 Meyerland Plaza in Houston will host Reshonda Tate Billingsley. “All that glitters isn’t gold…” in The Devil is a Lie which Ms. Billingsley will be signing at 2:00 pm.

And aspiring romance writers can find support and education at the West Houston Romance Writers of America monthly meeting. The meeting takes place the second Saturday of each month at 9:00 am. This Saturday’s program will be a forum on publicity efforts featuring Karen Young and Colleen Thompson. According to Colleen, “If you've ever wanted to know what authors can do, what it costs, how time-intensive it is, and which of the myriad options seems to work, this is your workshop.” The group meets at the Memorial Drive Christian Church, 11750 Memorial Drive.
