Annika is a freelance writer and editor specializing in travel, environment, and international development. She has traveled independently in many countries and also leads group trips throughout the world, primarily for alumni and museum travel programs.

A dual citizen of the U.S. and Sweden, Annika grew up speaking both English and Swedish. She is also fluent in Spanish and holds degrees in environmental studies and Latin American studies. She loves to return to and write about Scandinavia and Latin America as often as possible.
