Daniel Walker Howe, a Denver East High graduate and Pulitzer Prize winner in history last year, will discuss his prize-winning book, "What Hath God Wrought — the Transformation of America, 1815-1848," Thursday (March 12), at 7 p.m. in the Boettcher Auditorium of The Colorado Historical Society building, 1300 Broadway in downtown Denver.

The event is free and open to the public. It is sponsored by the Colorado Center for Literature and Art, the Colorado Yale Association, and the Historical Society.

Reservations are suggested only because unreserved seats will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis on the evening of the event.
