The topic of animal rights is often controversial. Want to learn more? The world’s longest-running conference on the subject (since 1981) will take place this Thursday, July 16th through Monday, July 20th in Los Angeles at the Westin Hotel LAX.
Scheduled speakers and guests include Jane Velez-Mitchell, host of Issues with Jane Velez-Mitchell on HLN, Michael Mountain of Best Friends Animal Society, and actors Charlotte Ross and Elaine Hendrix, among others.
Participants may visit 90 exhibits and attend one session free. Those wishing to attend more of the 114 sessions may purchase registration at $120 to $160 and a ticket for the Saturday night Awards Banquet at $30.
