The lazy days of summer are clearly over here in Nebraska. The nights have grown cool and the days can vary as much as 20 degrees from one to the next. This can only mean that winter is coming. Time to get your green on! Here is a great way to live greener, warmer and help enhance your sense of community.

Have You Shared A Box Lately?

Now is the time to break out the winter gear-you know the kids have outgrown it ALL. It is easy to set up a round-robin box of winter wear and ask a friend if she would like to look through it. Have her pass it on as well. Eventually the box comes back to you, with all different items in it. you can find some great new things this way. I label the box with the season, my name and contact info. Put a note such as *Keep for three days, then send to the next friend* and *Return By and a date*. Then, the box can meander around our local town, helping to declutter and recycle in everyone's home. Try it!
