On October 14, 2009 the controversial figure Lord Monckton Christopher spoke in Minnesota. Lord Christopher Monckton was a senior advisor to Margaret Thatcher. Lord Christopher believes that the whole climate scare is a scam to make money. He says there is nothing wrong with the climate and that we did nothing to hurt it and if there is something wrong with it, it is too late to fix it now.
Lord Christopher’s main focus though is a treaty that is set to be signed by President Obama and most world leaders in December. Lord Christopher explained that the treaty to be signed in Copenhagen by President Obama will create a “world government.”
Monckton made it clear that in Copenhagen in December a treaty will be signed that will ensure a “world government will be created.” Lord Christopher also clarified that wealthier countries such as the US will need to pay a “climate debt.” This climate debt will be a transfer of wealth to third world countries. The reasoning behind this is because bigger countries have contributed to creating pollution and “burning CO2” and third world countries have not.
Lord Christopher also explained that this treaty will involve “enforcement.” He stated that there will no longer be elections or ballots. Monckton emphasized that this treaty will override the American constitution as well. Lord Christopher stated that this treaty will make us a communist world and that Obama has always had sympathy for the poor.
Lord Christopher had nothing but nice things to say about America during his speech as well. He praised America for being a “soil of freedom” and explicitly explained that Americans need to stop President Obama from signing the treaty. George W. Bush signed the NAFTA agreement long ago and many were saying our country would be under marshal law the next day. One thing Lord Christopher has not taken into account is the second amendment. Militias in Montana and all throughout rural America would cause a bloody civil war if democracy or gun rights were violated. According to the US constitution 2/3 of the Senate need to agree with a treaty for the president to sign it. If Lord Christopher is right then the US and the whole world needs to be concerned. As with anything though, it is good to research yourself. A copy of the proposed document can be found HERE.
