Autumn's crisp mornings and moderate day temps are ideal for a run to the off-leash dog parks. Enjoy watching your dog run and play with other dogs amidst the delightful scenery of our fair Island.

The Marguerite Brons Memorial Park (also known as Bayview) offers the best of both worlds: a spacious grassy field surrounded by trees and a deep forest with several fenced trails. Run your k-9 in the field then take a nature walk.

Another feature is the the blissful quiet: the park is not close to the main road. There is also a fenced area for smaller dogs; running water, wading pools (in summer), balls and the racquets to launch them.

There isn't 'shelter' per se, or picnic tables;  just a great location to exercise your  dog and meet the very pleasant regulars. The camaraderie is exceptional at this park!

It's easy to find: where highway 525 and Bayview Road intersect. Just go beyond the Park and Rise for a few minutes and you will see the park on your left.
