Saturday November 7
Regular Canine to Five Indoor Dog Park, 9:00 am – 12:00 noon, Canine to Five, 3443 Cass Ave., Detroit, MI.
Michigan Veterinary Medical Association People, Pets, and Vets, 11:00 am – 3:00 pm Macomb Community College at Garfield/M-59, 44575 Garfield Road,, Building E, Clinton Twp, MI. This great event for all ages has more than thirty exhibits including dentistry, leader dogs, microchipping, anatomy, surgery, radiology, parasitology, and emergency care. Children also learn about the importance of grooming, the seriousness of obesity, and the significance of lab animals. They experience unusual pets, such as sugar gliders and llamas. And even take their "wounded" stuffed animals to the Teddy Bear Clinic for surgery. Live animal exhibits will feature reptiles and exotic pets, rabbits, a piano-playing dog, miniature horses, minature goats, chickens and canine agility training with demonstrations. There will also be face painting, balloons and lots of fun activities for the kids. Admission is free.

4th Annual Trivia Classic to Benefit Friends For The Dearborn Animal Shelter, 2:00 – 5:00 pm, Allen Park Community Center, 15800 White, Allen Park, MI. November 12-14, 2009, P.A.W.S. Millionaire Party, 4:00 pm – 2:00 am each day, Woodhaven Lanes, 20000 Van Horn Rd., Woodhaven, MI. Come play Texas Hold 'Em and support P.A.W.S.
