Household Manners Dog Obedience Classes, 6:30 pm – 7:30 pm, YMCA Birmingham, 400 E. Lincoln St., Birmingham, MI. A beginner class will be offered by For Better Independence ("FBI") from 6:30 pm – 7:30 pm, followed by the advanced class from 7:30 pm – 8:30 pm. Classes will run for six weeks. Age limit: 10 weeks of age and up. This is the entry level obedience class for all canines, designed for all breeds and all age groups of dogs. Topics covered in class: sit, down, stay, off (no jumping), come when called, leave-it, loose lead walking (no pulling on leash), quiet, housebreaking, crate training, collars and other equipment options, basic canine care and husbandry, feeding and grooming. **The first night is orientation without your dog.
