Pets and Kids Trick-or-Treating, 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm, White Lake Pet Supplies Plus, 8020 Cooley Lake Rd., White Lake, MI. There will be trick-or-treat bags for dogs and cats, and donuts, cider, and treats for kids and adults. There will be scratch-off tickets available that will give you discounts on your favorite items! Also, for $10.00, you can get a digital photo taken of your pet or kids. Canine to Five Basic Obedience Class, 7:30 pm – 8:30 pm, Canine to Five, 3343 Cass Ave., Detroit, MI. This is a 6-week class, and we will be skipping class Nov. 25, so it will go for 7 weeks this time. Basic Obedience covers simple behaviors such as sit, down, stay, come when called, walking on a loose leash, leave it, and drop it. Behavioral issues like chewing, jumping, and nipping are covered as well. In this course we aim for 100% reliability, which means that your dog listens to you the first time every time. The added distraction of the other dogs in class helps your dog learn to listen to you in any environment.

THURSDAY OCTOBER 29
